Did you know that there is a huge Turkish - Ottoman style mosque in Shibuya? Tokyo Camii (read as Jami meaning mosque in Arabic) is only six minutes away from Yoyogi Uehara Station on Odakyu Line and is the largest mosque in Japan. Not only it's a huge flexing point amongst Turkish community in Tokyo, it is actually a good representative of Ottoman architectural style. Even the marbles that were used in the construction was imported from Turkey and around 70 Turkish craftsmen worked on the details of the building.
